craig pollack

Conceived on or about February 2, 1970 in the balcony of the Park Theater in Roselle Park N.J., during a showing of Easy Rider, Craig Pollack burst into this world on November 29, 1970 in the back seat of his fathers 1968 Buick 225 Elektra sport coupe.

His parents Harvey & Shiela were on their way home from Thanksgiving dinner at Shiela's Aunt Ida's house when she went into labor. Although the Hospital was literally 200 yards from Ida's home.

Harvey was a bit frugal and felt the cost of an actual hospital birth was not cost effective when compared to the cost of having to clean the car. Besides, given the vast amount of room in the back seat of the 225 Elektra sport coupe, it just made more sense to him to have his son born there.  In an effort to comfort his wife during the birthing process, Harvey popped a copy of "Elvis, The 68 Comeback" into the 8 track player.  It is believed this is where Craig acquired his fondness for Elvis's music, and luxury automobiles.

Craig's childhood was a happy one, playing with his friends, and attending school some of the time. He got his first job when he was 11 working for a local man only known as Paulie "JellyBean." Jelly would drive Craig out to the swamps to dig holes for him. Craig never questioned why but one day JellyBean disappeared never to be heard from again, and that ended Craig's career as a shoveller. Craig spent the next 25 years going from job to job searching for that one perfect job, he is still searching. In October of 2007 after much begging, pleading, bribing, and "favors" that good taste does not allow us to publish, Craig was accepted into Unmentionables.
